Egyptian Mau Cat Breeders in New Zealand
Egyptian Maus are considered to be the only naturally spotted breed of domesticated cat. The Ocicat is very similar in appearance to the Egyptian Mau. Both are the products of selective breeding which led to their characteristic spots.
Another similar looking breed is the Bengal. Albeit largely anecdotal, the Egyptian Mau is well known for intelligence and close bonding with responsible and loving owners.
